LEVITRA AND FDA APPROVAL

GlaxoSmithKline and Bayer had signed a mixed developmental and promotional covenant for Levitra in November 2001.

The new medicine that was presented as the first ED drug to compete Viagra that was presented in 1998. Levitra obtained dispositive commendation for the medication of erectile dysfunction in over 63 countries.

It was endorsed by the U.S. FDA as one of the first oral medicines for the medication of penile dysfunction in August 2003.
